Good news, you do not have to completely revamp your beach routine because of COVID-19. The beach is a great place to bring the kids for some sense of normalcy during these crazy times! Enjoy mask free fun!
As long as you avoid crowds, keep your distance, wash your hands after, and don't walk into people's sneezes, you're good. However, these additional tricks will help those who are especially concerned about contracting COVID-19.
1. Bring your own toys and balls: If you forget the toys, your kids will surely notice the other kids' toys. Bring your own if you don't want them to share.
2. Bring extra towels, hand sanitizer, and cleaning cloths: Getting dirty at the beach is usually part of the territory. However, bring more cleaning essentials than you usually would. Use a small bottle of hand sanitizer or soap sheets to keep your hands clean when reaching for snacks.
3. Bring a change of clothes: You may be used to going home in your swimsuit, putting a towel on the seat. However, you will carry less germs (if you're that worried about it) by changing your clothes before going home.
